I've been following VDGG and Peter Hammill since early 1971. On these pages are some low res pictures taken at The Venue in 1980 and 1981 and at Folkestone with John Ellis on the Marillion tour 1983. As you can see I've kept it pretty basic so every thing runs quickly.I am sure all you photographers out there know the problems of taking decent pics in low light and when the subject is constantly moving. All these pic were taken and developed by me as I had a darkroom at the time.("Pretty keen - yes my hobby keeps me busy"). For the technically minded they were taken on a Canon A1 with a Tamron 210 zoom. The colour pics are scanned from etkachrome slides and the B & W ones were taken on Ilford XP1 pushed to 1600 asa. There are quite a few more on subsequent pages but they are not great. I am in the process of touching them up digitally with Photoshop and I will gradually replace each pic as I do it. If anyone likes them and wants a higher res version I can make the picture smaller but of higher res if you wish. If I put really high res pictures on the page it would take an age to download. There are also poor quality pics VDGG at Drury Lane and some album reviews and articles that I saved at the time. I've got some more somewhere...but where?
**Pictures of the reunion are now included. All taken on a Canon 300D and put into gallery using a Photoshop template.
